Dr Piotr Sadowski is a lecturer, scholar, and author.  He teaches in the Department of Film and Creative Media in Dublin Business School, Ireland.  He is also a Visiting Research Fellow in the School of English at Trinity College Dublin.  Piotr has published peer-reviewed books and articles (see the publications page for details) on early modern English literature, silent cinema and modern visual arts, photographic media, communication theory, linguistics, gender, semiotics, and systems theory of literature.

Piotr's latest book, Histrionic Hamlet: Shakespeare's Ultimate Metatheatrical Experiment,

Piotr's new book project, still at the writing stage, is Shakespeare, Memory, and Human Nature.

Piotr is married, with two grown-up sons.  His hobbies include photography and film-making, hill-walking and cycling during the summer, cross-country skiing in the winter, and jazz music with a glass of wine in the evenings for the rest of the year.
